He doesn't seem to realize that when you deal with a prophet who has a reputation as a jackass, said reputation will almost certainly factor into his prophecies. And then, the whole Machivellian ploy is going to fail because it's simple reverse psychology on Mouth's part. I can almost guarantee that while Norrington's going to the castle, Anti's going to be going to town, thus validating both prophecies because while Norrington regains his family castle, Anti's going to come back and beat the living daylights out of him and his friends, and then force them to bow to him.

And all of this is because, of course, of Mouth, his self-fulfilling prophecies, and his reputation for doucherty.

Of course, I could be utterly wrong, but I'm going to be right at least in part.
